I just saw a headline that said thieves purchased a lottery ticket with a stolen credit card and they won $525,000 USD. The dude who’s card was stolen offered to split the money with them because “without his credit card it would not have been possible to buy the ticket, but without the thieves’ behaviour, the ticket wouldn’t have been bought either”. What would you do?

I think splitting is lowkey the correct thing to do, because he never would've bought the ticket in the first place apparently.
